Alicia LaDawn is a Producer and Actress from Los Angeles, California. Her passion for theatric’s was birthed at the tender age of 5. It was in the third grade that she developed an eye for the arts and began writing creative stories. By age 10 she went on to write, direct, produce, and star in her own content. At the age of 16, she graduated high school and went on to get her Bachelor’s in Marketing from Vanguard University. While in college she continued to write and produce. In January 2013, she directed a few fundraising segments that aired on Juce TV. Less than three months later she partnered with TBN and Associate Produced her first show, “The Josh Moore Show,” which aired on Juce TV in the Fall of 2017.
After years of dreaming of being an actress she decided to actually pursue it by taking an acting class at Studio School located in the heart of Downtown, Los Angeles Center Studios. It was there that her instructors pushed her to really pursue her dreams. By September, she had her first audition for a short film ‘Waiting on Oz!’ where she booked her first lead role as Keona Banks. With a fire under her feet she auditioned again a week later for the short film ‘Reassurance’ where she landed yet another lead role, Iris. Determined for greatness she continued to press until she landed her first principal role and Assistant Producer credit in a feature film titled, ‘ Back to…the Goode Life’, which aired on BET Her April 27, 2019. Alicia is continuously looking to grow and redefine herself as an actress. Currently, she just completed a short film titled, ‘Catching Fire,’ a love story about a women who suffered great loss, and must find the courage to carry on.
